Co-Founder & Executive Director

I'm Keyra John, and this festival has been years in the making, even before I knew what it would look like.

I pioneered South Idaho Insurance Agency in 2023, and we've been so blessed to see it grow into something that gave me the freedom to become a stay-at-home mom. I've been home with our kids for over a year now, and I am so excited to get back out there in the marketplace. That blessing opened a door I didn't expect โ€” the time and the chance to finally chase something that has always been on my heart: hosting events, plugging into our community, and finding real ways to give back.

Jimmy is a pillar in this community, and I mean that in the truest sense of the word. Between the two of us, we've walked through some genuinely hard seasons in life, and if it weren't for the programs and people who showed up for us when we needed it most, we honestly wouldn't be where we are today. We don't take that lightly, and it's exactly why we wanted to build something that gives back the same way โ€” to veterans, to survivors, to families who are simply trying to find their footing โ€” the same way our community once showed up for us.

Warm Hearts Christmas Festival is our way of saying thank you, and of paying it forward. ๐ŸŽ„

Co-Founder, Marketing & Outreach

I'm Jimmy John, and I'm proud to call Caldwell, Idaho home. My wife Keyra and I have a son, a daughter, and our dog Bogie, and family is everything to us โ€” right alongside community and relationships.

For years, connecting people has been a big part of what I do. I love getting to know people, hearing their stories, and finding ways to bring good people together. That's really the heart behind Warm Hearts Christmas Festival โ€” Keyra and I wanted to build something that brings our whole community together around the people who need us most: our local veterans and families rebuilding after hard seasons.

I'm honored to watch this festival come together with so many incredible local businesses, sponsors, and volunteers stepping up. Caldwell has always shown up for our family, and this is our way of showing up right back.

See you at the festival โ€” I'll be the one making sure everyone feels welcome. ๐ŸŽ„

The People Making It Happen

Warm Hearts is run by volunteers who believe in this community โ€” here are the people behind the scenes.

Tree Partners & Outreach

Community involvement has been a big part of both my personal life and my career. For many years, I've worked with individuals and families who are trying to overcome difficult circumstances, especially when financial hardship is part of the picture. I've volunteered my time providing financial and credit education, worked with community programs, and helped people who simply needed someone willing to advocate for them.

One cause especially close to my heart has been supporting survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. I've provided pro bono credit and financial advocacy services to survivors and have worked with the Nampa Family Justice Center to help people rebuild the financial side of their lives after abuse.

I've tried to make community service less about getting recognition and more about seeing a need and doing something about it. That's a huge part of why Warm Hearts means so much to me.

Creative Director & Giveaways Lead

I am a wife, mom of six boys, entrepreneur, and longtime member of the Treasure Valley community. Family has always been at the center of my life, and I bring that same sense of loyalty, compassion, humor, and determination into the causes I choose to support.

This mission is especially personal to me. Growing up as a military brat with a father who served in the Army for 32 years gave me a firsthand appreciation for the sacrifices made not only by service members, but by the families who serve alongside them. Supporting veterans is more than simply a cause I believe in, it is something deeply connected to the way I was raised and the people I love.

I am also a survivor of domestic abuse, giving the organization's mission another deeply personal meaning. My own experiences have given me an understanding of how important it is for survivors to have support, resources, community, and people willing to stand beside them as they rebuild their lives. I hope to use those experiences not to be defined by what I have been through, but to help create something meaningful for others who may be facing their own difficult chapters.

I try to bring creativity, a willingness to jump in wherever I am needed, and a genuine love for bringing people together. Whether I am helping organize an event, working behind the scenes, or dreaming up an idea that inevitably becomes a much bigger project than originally planned, I believe some of the biggest differences we can make begin simply by showing people that they matter and that they are not alone.
